Workspace Context

Reference existing rules and data elements

Add existing Adobe Tags items as reference. Ivory uses them as patterns for new components.

Add Context

  1. Open Adobe Tags

  2. Navigate to any rule or data element

  3. Click the + button in the Workspace header

The item's configuration is saved as reference context in the "From Adobe Tags" section.

Why Use Context

Consistency - New rules follow the same patterns as existing ones

Accuracy - Ivory sees exactly how your property is configured

Efficiency - No need to describe settings that already exist elsewhere

Example Workflow

You have a working click tracking rule and want to create similar ones:

  1. Navigate to the existing rule in Adobe Tags

  2. Click the + button in the Workspace header

  3. Click Create and enter:

Ivory replicates the structure: same event type, similar conditions, matching action configuration.

Managing Context

  • View all context items in the Workspace section under "From Adobe Tags"

  • Click an item to see its details

  • Click Clear in the subsection header to remove all context
